1⁄2 lb.

1 1⁄2 lbs.

Preparation:

Boil the juices to remove their scum, then add the Sugar and form a Syrup. It was also made with simple Hops juice.

Function:

Clears Heat and Damp, expels Bile, calms the Mind, promotes Urine

Use:

1. Liver Heat and Bile diseases
2. Jaundice
3. Headache and Migraines
4. Irritability, Restlessness
5. Nervous Tension
6. Obstructed Urine, Cystitis
7. Chronic and stubborn Fever
8. Scabs, Itch, Eczema and other skin diseases from Bile

Dose:

1–2 oz.

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

Note that this is the same combination as Syrup of Fumitory, but with half the amount of Fumitory.
