Preparation:
Add the Jujubes and Barley to 4 lbs. of Fountain Water, and boil for 30 minutes, then add the remaining herbs and seeds, decoct for another 20 minutes, adding the Violet flowers towards the end; it should be boiled to the consumption of one-third, then strain. Dissolve the Gum and 2 lbs. of Sugar, and boil gently to the thickness of Honey, removing the scum as it rises.

Clears Phlegm and Heat, benefits the Lungs, stops Cough
Use:
1. Hoarseness
2. Hot and dry types of Cough
3. Bronchitis
4. Pleurisy
