* Plantain juice is depurated by gently boiling, removing the scum and separating from the sediment.
Preparation:
Decot in 3 lbs. water to 1 lb., and with Sugar 1 lb. form a syrup
Function:
Clears Heat, nourishes Yin
Use:
1. Yin-deficient Heat, Hectic Fever
2, Phthisis; Pulmonary Consumption, Tuberculosis
3. Chronic Lung disease with Lung yin deficiency
Dose:
1–3 oz. several times daily
