Preparation:
Coarse powder to prepare a decoction
It can also be prepared as Pills or Powder.
Function:
Clears Heat from the Lungs and Kidneys, Opens Obstructions
Use:
“Completely cures fresh and old Lung diseases: (Amdo Compendium)
1. Cough
2. Cough with blood-streaked sputum (“no better medicine”)
3. Urinary retention from Heat
4. Frequent or Urgent Urine from Heat
5. Nephritis
6. “Collects” Heat of Lungs and Kidneys
Dose:
3–5 grams can be prepared as a decoction.
Cautions:
Not used during Pregnancy.
