Betony Betonica officinalis 6 oz.
Calamus Acorus calamus
Peony root Peonia officinalis
Parsley root Petroselinum crispum
Stone Parsley root Sison amomum
Fennel root Foeniculum vulgare
Butchers Broom root Ruscus aculeatus
Asparagus root Asparagus officinale
Aniseed Pimpinella anisum
Fennel seed Foeniculum vulgare
Nutmeg Myristica fragrans
Cinnamon Cinnamonum zeylanicum
Honey Mel

Preparation:

Cover with enough Spiritum Vitae (45-60% alcohol) to cover by 4 fingers, then digest for 20 days in B.M., and decant the Tincture.

Function:

moves Qi and Blood, stops Wind, benefits the Brain and Nerves

Use:

1. Convulsions
2. Epilepsy
3. Lethargy
4. Vertigo
5. Dizziness

Dose:

1 spoonful 3 times daily

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

“Excellent against all affections of the Brain and Nerves; it cures Convulsions, Falling Sickness [Epilepsy], Lethargies, and such like diseases”. (Salmon)
