Preparation:

Powder; mix with Almond oil, then knead with Honey

Function:

Strengthens, Regulates

Use:

1. Laxity and Looseness of the Bowels due to loss of tone
2. Moisture of the Stomach or Intestines

3. Hemorrhoids
4. Clari
fies the Mind and Senses
5. Enhances Complexion

Dose:

2–3 drams

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Note that this medicine, made with only the Three Myrobalans (Triphala), and replacing the Almond oil with Ghee, is much used in India.
