Preparation:

Beat the fresh Rose in a stone mortar and add the rest in powder. Form Troches with Gum Arabic dissolved in Rose water; aromatize with Musk 1 dram, Ambergris, Camphor of each 1 scruple (traditionally ½ aur)

Function:

Clears Heat, strengthens the Heart, Liver and Stomach

Use:

Debility of the Heart, Liver and Stomach

Dose:

1 dram

Similar Formula:

As this was not commonly used, but it appears in some formulas, Gallia Muscata was sometimes used as a replacement.
