Preparation:

Powder. It can be made into an Electuary with 3 oz. of clarified Honey.

Function:

Warms, regulates Qi, settles Wind, strengthens Heart, Brain and Stomach

Use:

1. Shaking Palsy (Parkinsonism)
2. Tremors
3. Palpitations
4. Fainting
5. Menstrual pain from Cold and Qi stagnation
6. Infertility from Cold
7. Tonic during Pregnancy in Cold bodies (without Musk)

Dose:

1⁄2–1 dram of the powder; 2 drams of the Electuary

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Menstrual Pain from Cold, add Citron peel
